Jonathan Majors, star of Creed III and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was arrested Saturday after an alleged argument with a woman aged 30.

The girl reported to the New York Police Division that the actor assaulted her. The girl was taken to hospital for minor injuries to her neck and head. Majors could face charges of strangulation, harassment, and assault.

The police confirmed that “a preliminary investigation determined that a 33-year-old man was involved in a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old female.” The victim told police that she had been assaulted. The 33-year old male was taken into custody without incident by the officers. The patient sustained minor injuries to her neck and head, and was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.”

Majors issued a statement through a spokesperson, denying all wrongdoing.

Majors’ spokesperson said in an announcement sent to Variety, “He has done nothing wrong.” “We are proud of his efforts to clear up the matter.”
